APXpress look to theITbridge to replace their site APXpress came to theITbridge already with an e-commerce site in place which had been adequate in fulfilling the companies needs. But when it was announced that the software behind the site was no longer being supported, APXpress came to theITbridge looking for site that not only replaced the old one but also improved on it. Although the previous software provided some strong functionality including segregation at buyer level, there were several shortcomings. The log on process was extremely slow which was not very good for customer service, the site had potential compatibility issues as no testing had taken place on the software since IE 6, control over look and feel was minimal, navigation was confusing for inexperienced visitors and categorisation had flaws that could allow customers to see the wrong products on the site. theITbridge was able to offer a solution that covered all of APXpress's concerns about their previous site.
