Hydrogarden decides to grow its e-commerce site Before coming to theITbridge Hydrogarden already had an existing website which included integrated Business to Business e-commerce with some high quality in house design but despite this Hydrogarden realised that site had some shortcomings. The site was designed in such a way that although it seemed to be presented well it was extremely unfriendly for search engines, the poor navigational structure of the site meant it was difficult for the customers to know where they were or how to go back a step and uploading. Another problem was that downloads and uploads were done manually and the management of the middleware required a lot of intervention, these two aspects combined took up a lot of valuable time. Hydrogarden wanted a site that not only was a one stop location for all essential information for its customers and end clients but also wanted a site that was less time consuming to maintain and manage. At this moment in time theITbridge is putting together a site that allows visitors to look at detailed descriptions of products, brochure PDF's, videos, retailer locater and useful links.
